To celebrate Burn’s Night, Kahani – the gourmet Indian restaurant in the heart of Chelsea – will be offering London’s first ever Haggis Bhuna as a limited-edition dish.
Available for just one week from 23rd to 29th January, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy a totally unique Indian take on a Scottish classic.
Created by Michelin-starred chef and owner Peter Joseph, the dish features the finest quality British lamb paired with a heady combination of traditional Indian spices, including ginger, chilli, Garamasala and mace.
The spices are fried before allowing the meat to marinade and absorb the flavours, resulting in a rich and fragrant curry. Garnished with fresh coriander and served with hot parathas, this distinctive dish celebrates the love affair between Joseph’s Indian heritage and his contemporary twist on British food.
The Burn’s Night Haggis Bhuna pairs perfectly with Kahani’s election of small sharing plates, chargrilled meats, contemporary curries and delicious vegetable dishes all year round. These can be enjoyed alongside cocktails carefully curated with Indian spices, or an extensive selection of wines.
