Leiths School of Food and Wine has announced a new series of one day cookery classes with renowned guest chefs.
There will be a class with chef Peter Gordon, of the award winning Providores, where you find exciting flavour combinations such as ‘deep-fried egg with lime chilli dressing, garam masala and crispy shallots’ and ‘steamed crab, shiitake, corn & coconut custard pots with wasabi tobikko’. The ‘New Face of Indian Cookery’, TV chef Anjum Anand, will also be on hand to unravel the secrets of Indian cuisine.
A number of successful former Leiths Diploma Alumni are also returning to host their own classes as guest chefs. These graduates have carved out successful careers in their specialist area and include: Mexican Cookery with Angeles Alaya; Scandinavian cookery with Signe Johansen; Indian Cookery with Angela Malik; French Cookery with Henry Harris; and ‘One Pot Cooking’ with Alan Rosenthal.
The classes will be led by the guest chefs and supported by Leiths teachers. As a hands on course, the students will get plenty of practice with the experts before sitting down to enjoy lunch with a glass of wine.
