This Mother’s day, The Spread Eagle will be serving a hearty and warming vegan roast complete with all the trimmings for a delicious Sunday lunch.

The  ingredients are locally sourced to ensure that guests receive a vegan roast with an emphasis on zero waste, Homerton High Street’s popular corner pub takes an environmentally friendly stance while providing a relaxing atmosphere for adults and children to enjoy.


Putting a twist on the cherished pub classic, The Spread Eagle offers three fully vegan Sunday roast options. Each plate is served with the essential sides needed for a Sunday feast including potatoes, roasted carrots and parsnips, seasonal greens, a Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

Lunch options include:

Beet Wellington 

Walnut & cashew nut roast

Pot roast celeriac & potato crackling

Sunday afternoon dessert options include a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce,rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard and a chocolate and salted caramel tart

With a carefully curated cocktail list using innovative plant-based twists on much-loved classics, guests can enjoy a spiced Bloody Mary with a fresh garnish of celery for a tantalising pre-lunch aperitif. A selection of contemporary mocktails is also available including an Espresso Martini-less and a light Italian Spritz and Soda.
