This autumn and winter, Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden will be hosting a series of interactive and demonstrative masterclasses and tasting events to share knowledge and inspire.
Set within the homewares and lifestyle shop or the Delicatessen it’s a magical setting for a workshop or tasting event in the heart of central London
Until December, Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden will host their Urban School of Garden Inspiration workshops set around the Potting Bench, an interactive green space that demonstrates floral and horticultural creativity.
Surrounded by plants and flowers, regular events will be held, led by Heads of Horticulture Thomas Broom-Hughes and Amanda Brame. Thomas and Amanda will impart their skills in short, animated workshops where groups will be encouraged to develop their creativity and try their hand at making their own planters and striking indoor displays.
At the Delicatessen, Petersham Cellar and the Delicatessen team will host a series of tasting events every Thursday evening. Guests are invited to sample and enjoy some of the fine Italian wines from Petersham Cellar and seasonal produce from the bountiful counter.
On the first Saturday of every month, customers can also meet one of Petersham Nurseries’ Italian or British suppliers in the Delicatessen, who will be showcasing their artisan products, reinforcing Petersham Nurseries’ passion for ethical and sustainable sourcing.
