On 8th September 2018, Clerkenwell hotspot, Sarona Restaurant and Bar will bring a slice of the Middle East to London’s brunch scene with its new Mezze Brunch.
Featuring live music, bottomless Bellinis and a delicious menu of contemporary Middle Eastern breakfast and brunch favourit esagainst a stylish urban backdrop, the Mezze Brunchwill be a vibrant and colourful addition to Saturday brunch.
Taking place over three sittings from 11am – 4pm, Sarona’s Mezze brunch menu will feature both bottomless food and bottomless drinks. The new brunch offering has been devised by newly appointed Executive Chef, Aviv Lavi, whose culinary concept is deeply intertwined with his Middle Eastern heritage, enhanced by his travels and experiences.
Inspired by a myriad of countries spanning Greece, Turkey, Israel, Morocco, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, and beyond, this’borderless’ cuisine is presented by Lavi in distinctly modern way, with thoughtful flavour combinations.
Highlights from the brunch menu include:
- Spicy Shakshuka
- Poached eggs with Arabic spinach and pine nuts
- Hummus Masabacha
- Moroccan bean stew
- Challah toast & butter
Accompanying these bottomless dishes will be a choice of free-flowing seasonal Bellinis, Prosecco, Bloody Marys or Virgin Marys, to be enjoyed over a 1 hr 30 period.
