Foodepedia were invited to the launch of SISU, a hidden rooftop bar where Londoners can escape the crowds and hustle of Oxford Street below and instead enjoy the views of stressed shoppers leaving Primark.
This Scandinavian inspired hideaway is full to the brim with plants, suiting the oasis greenhouse style. Heated concrete seats also await should the unpredictable, British weather decide to turn (as it so often does).
This all seems insignificant, however, when you discover the bar has its very own Negroni machine.
Sisu also claims to be a street food nature reserve, with cauliflower cheese arancini, chicken waffles and other worldly flavours on offer.
Along with the Negroni machine, cocktails such as the Florodora (Raspberry, ginger and gin) and Howler (bourbon, apricot and lemon) are served in jam-jar style glasses and come in two sizes: Regular (£8) or large (£13). Should these cocktails not tipple your fancy, Camden Town Brewery beers are on tap.
Sisu takes over from Notch rooftop bar. The Scandinavian greenhouse will overlook Oxford Street for a year before the space is given a new, fresh theme and name ready for 2018.
