For Chinese New Year 2024 , Ping Pong Restaurant group has created a range of special menu items to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, one of the most auspicious years in the Chinese calendar

The group have created a variety of special dishes and a cocktail in partnership with VIVIR Tequila to mark the occasion.

These dishes will be available from Tuesday 6 February until Monday 5 March, with Chinese New Year falling on Saturday 10 February.

A wonderful array of new dim sum and hot dishes are available. Four new dishes include Crispy Dragon Balls – king prawn wrapped in a crispy, shredded pastry served with spicy mango sauce; Aubergine Oriental Salad – aubergine slices marinated in signature oriental sauce, sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds and served with freshly chopped green onion and chilli and Giant Soup dumpling – traditional large soup dumpling with pork wrapped in wheat flour pastry, served with oriental sesame soy sauce.

For those with a sweet tooth there is a fluffy Green Tea & Mascarpone Dorayaki

 – two fluffy golden pancakes with a green tea, red bean and mascarpone cream filling, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, the perfect treat to end a Chinese New Year banquet

There’s a punchy tequila cocktail created for this celebratory occasion – Dragon Punch – a mix of VIVIR Tequila mixed with lychee sake, lychee juice and homemade

Ping Pong still have their value set menus to celebrate with, starting from £20 per person, and available for bookings of eight or more, with group set menus ranging from £20 to £40 per person with plenty of vegan, gluten free and halal options too.

To spice up the celebrations, large parties will be able to pre-book exclusive Year of the Dragon drink packages, with cocktail trees at £65 and 10 Asahi beer bottle bundles from £44.50. 

All the restaurants will be adorned with traditional red lanterns and all guests signed up to receive Ping Pong’s newsletter before 21 January will have a voucher they can claim during the Chinese New Year celebrations for a free special item from the menu.
