This February, St Pancras Bar & Brasserie will launch its Kitchen Bar featuring a towering back bar counter laden with freshly baked bread and produce.
The open Kitchen Bar also doubles as a chef’s counter, so guests can watch th chefs in action, from breakfast through to dinner.
Executive Chef Thomas Piat, has created a raw food menu drawing on his French expertise, honed at the École Hôtelière de Paris, and through working at Michelin-starred establishments such as Jòia with Hélène Darroze.
The elegant 1920s Art Deco interiors feature rich wood panelling and brass fixtures and the dishes showcase quality ingredients, using the French and British seasonal produce.
Each morning, breakfast will feature baskets of freshly baked bread and homemade pastries just like Parisian boulangeries.
Lunch will offer light salads, including a classic Caesar salad with anchovies and parmesan or a Radicchio salad with a walnut dressing, Devon blue cheese and pears, chopped and assembled at the raw bar in front of diners.
For dinner, guests can enjoy Champagne and Sturia Oscietra caviar with warm blinis or opt for Pâté en croûte with pistachio and brandy cherries. The meal can be finished in true Parisian style with a plate of French and British cheeses: Beauvale, Baron Bigod, Tor Pyramid, quince jelly and crackers, paired with wine. Highlights include Escargot de Bourgogne with garlic and parsley butter, French onion soup with Gruyère croutons and Saucisse de Morteau aux lentilles.
Complementing these French dishes are beloved British staples, such as Battered haddock with minted peas and tartar sauce and Sausage and mash with onion gravy reflecting the brasserie’s connection between London and Paris
St Pancras Bar is home to Europe’s longest Champagne Bar, offering stunning views of the station’s architectural beauty, the Eurostar and Tracey Emin’s iconic neon artwork “I Want My Time With You.” The bar features a selection of small plates and snacks alongside a curated wine and cocktail list.
