Join the brewery at its annual celebration of fresh beer: The 2016 Tank Party
Camden Town Brewery is once again opening its doors, and tanks, to beer lovers at the fourth annual Tank Party on Saturday 1st October at the brewery’s HQ in Kentish Town.
This celebration of great, fresh beer invites the public to drink unfiltered Hells lager straight from the 60 hectolitre tanks, the equivalent of 10,000 pints. This year for the very first time, Camden will be tapping up an additional tank; pouring an unfiltered version of its popular Pale Ale straight from the tank. The Unfiltered Pale Ale is exclusive to the Tank Party.
The Tank Party is inspired by the German tradition of local breweries supplying Kellerbier (cellar beer) – unfiltered and as fresh as it can get – to their local communities. Camden celebrates this tradition every year so everyone can enjoy the freshest Unfiltered Hells, direct from the tank.
Camden will also be serving its limited edition Oktoberfest lager. Brewed using only German ingredients, it is complex and nutty with a crisp, dry finish.
Set to a soundtrack of live music from local bands, there will be plenty to keep young and old entertained. Sign up to a free brewery tour followed by screen-printing custom Camden t-shirts and bags to take home. Become inspired by illustrator Gaurab Thakali’s live mural drawing, curated by Beach London. Kids will love the face painting, colouring competitions and balloon animal making. Finally, enjoy a selection of delicious street foodfrom Bill or Beak and Miss P’s Barbeque, topped off with a cakefrom Leila’s Place.
The Tank Party is free of charge and open to everyone.
