Christopher’s American Grill is going all out for Thanksgiving on 25th November this year. Their specially created Thanksgiving menu is inspired by traditional American food and it looks so good it may well be worth pretending to be American just as an excuse to celebrate!
Christopher’s is situated near Covent Garden in a Grade II listed Victorian Building right in the heart of theatre land. Diners can enjoy an array of traditional and modern dishes from across the USA in a dining room that still boasts many of the period features and offers views of Waterloo Bridge.
To kick start the Thanksgiving celebrations have a sip or several of Christopher’s Cranberry Martini whilst mulling over the menu. The Thanksgiving menu gives diners a wide choice of dishes to choose from and is priced at £38 for three courses.
On the menu to start is Roast Corn & Chorizo Chowder, Goats Cheese Soufflé with Slow-roast Cherry Tomatoes, ‘Louisiana’ Oyster Tempura and Caesar Salad with focaccia croutons.
Mains include Roast Salmon with lobster mash, Slow-cooked Ballottine of Norfolk Turkey served with corn bread, hazelnut and Michigan cherry stuffing, cranberry relish, buttered beans and creamed potatoes, and for the vegetarians, Roast Aubergine, Potato, Red Pepper & Goat’s Cheese Terrine.
To finish there’s the traditional Thanksgiving dessert of Pumpkin Pie as well as Pear & Almond Cobbler Blackberry Compote and Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
