If you’re into the Tour De France, healthy juices or just generally enjoy the stylish interiors of Great Titchfield Street’s Riding House Café then you might be interested in their current menu.
To celebrate the world’s most famous cycling event and to generally champion a healthy and active lifestyle, Riding House Café have launched a Tour De France juice and smoothie menu, available all day every day at the restaurant until 26th July 2015.
The themed menu features such smug-sounding sups as the ‘Green Jersey’ (Kale, apple, kiwi, lime, ginger), the ‘Champs-Elysees’ (Pineapple, yellow pepper, orange, lemon) and the ‘Velorution’ (Raspberries, apricot, banana, milk), all named after the local boutique cycle shop on Great Portland Street, Velorution and available at a very reasonable £4.50 each.
As a further reason to visit, Riding House Café actaully lost a member of the team to a tragic cycling accident earlier this year and in light of this, 50p from every purchase of the Velorution smoothie will be donated to London Cycling Campaign, a charity dedicated to making the city’s streets safe for cyclists.
So if you happen to work in Fitzrovia, put a spring in your morning commute in the knowledge you’re not only feeding your body, but doing the charitable thing at the same time…
