Special Edition Chilli & Chorizo Jam is the latest addition to the Tracklements range of award-winning artisan condiments.

The spicy, pan-fried sausage based on a recipe from the boys at The Bath Pig, along with chillis, red peppers, a blend of ground spices and a dash of cider vinegar deliver a flavour-packed punch.

On crackers with cheese (Manchego is said to be particularly good), with rarebit, in sausage sandwiches, on burgers, on eggs, in bacon butties, a spoonful in a corned beef hash, with fish and shellfish and in pasta sauces.

So far we’ve only managed to ram it into a cheese baguette, but the results were extremely encouraging, especially when one of the designers was caught it eating it from the jar.
