W5 Food Market brings a new and exciting cheesy twist to the pavements in front of Ealing Town Hall to life in the month of June, in celebration of London Food Month.
On Sunday 11th June, Ealing will play host to a vast range of Food & Drink stalls which will be open from 11-4pm. Drool over oodles of melted cheese from Raclette Brothers, Muffin Man & Co’s Oggleshield cheese laden brunches or Travelling Tikki’s creative take on the good old cheese toastie.
You’ll also find everything you need to create incredible flavour pairings and a true Cheese Fest, with Ealing’s very own Cheeky Food Co, Flaming Bonsai and Kaffee Culture, plus breads from Desi Baker Boy, olives, charcuterie and other cheesy treats, including GB Cheesecake and The Amazing Sherbet Company.
W5’s Abbotshill Wine Bar & Deli will host the Ealing Bites Talks Tent. This tent features talks and tastings from a variety of cheese makers and experts. It is a truly local affair for London Food Month with an Abbotshill pop-up bar sorting beverages for the day, including a range of cold refreshing drinks to enjoy under the summer sun and Artisan Coffee. There will be live music from local band, Chasing Deer, this will be sure to have everyone’s feet tapping. Plus, there is a free children’s craft tent.
Cheese Fest is free to attend, although tickets are available to take part in the inaugural ‘Cheese Cup’. Cheese producers from around the world will enter their best cheeses for the first ever W5 Cheese Cup. The Cheese Cup tasting card allows guests to taste all the delicious, mouth-watering cheeses which have been entered in the competition, along with a complimentary drink, with the winner announced on the day.
This event is not one to miss and will promise to be great family fun & a must for cheese lovers everywhere.
