The legendary King’s Road in Chelsea just welcomed The Rex Rooms at 151, a late night lounge and private room created by fashion designer and nightlife innovator Marc Jacques Burton.
Marc Jacques Burton is both a designer of night cubs and fashion brand MJB. He was in the creative force behind iconic venues such as Mahiki, Whisky Mist, and Tonteria, Burton hosting everyone from Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry to Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Timberlake.
While his label MJB, dressed a few stars such as Mick Jagger, Travis Scott and Tom Hardy. He designed stage outfits for Mick Jagger and revamped the Rolling Stones’ iconic tongue logo for their 2021–2022 U.S. tour.

At The Rex Rooms he merged creativity with fashion. The club is a two-part experience: The Spaces: The Main Lounge features hand-carved curvilinear wooden walls crafted by British artisans, evoking the surrealist dreamscapes of Salvador Dalí and the architectural flair of Antoni Gaudí.
The mirrors embedded in the wooden walls distort and reflect light, creating a dreamlike illusion of hidden dimensions and endless space.
Anchoring the space is a hand-carved bar that serves as both a visual and functional masterpiece.
While The King’s 1942 Room is a second space, it’s a hidden secret room behind a private door, an intimate, invitation-only space supported by Don Julio 1942.
With nine plush velvet banquettes framed by sculptural wood panels inspired by Gaudí’s wrought iron gates, this room exudes elegance.
At the bar guests can enjoy Innovative menu featuring mushroom extract-infused cocktails. The cocktails combine wellness and artistry in an exciting way such as Enchanted Shrooms: A shot of Don Julio 1942, Lion’s Mane extract, honey, and pineapple, served in a hand-carved mushroom sculpture.
And PDA: A sharer inspired by Salvador Dalí’s iconic lip-shaped sofa, blending Perrier-Jouët Rosé Champagne, cassis, framboise, and Ciroc vodka, presented in a sculptural masterpiece.
