Foodepedia has already talked about the fine dining list of restaurants offering special menu this St Valentine’s Day. For those looking to spend a little less this Valentine’s without compromising on flavour or course consider these restaurants offering Valentine’s menu for under £100pp.
Hithe+Seek
To celebrate Valentine’s Day Head Chef, Fabio De Paolis, has collaborated with win Dalston Wine Club Founder, Hannah Crosbie at Hithe + Seek.
Together they have created a six-course wine-pairing menu that combines elegance and taste, and aphrodisiac-imbued dishes.
Hannah and Fabio have worked collaboratively to curate a menu that is the epitome of romance, with playful takes on the dish’s names such as “The Booty Call” and “The My-Type-on-Paper”. The menu features an aperitif followed by six small plates to share paired with wines.
Available Tuesday to Saturday from 8th February to 2nd March at £99pp
Bamboo Mat
Bamboo Mat restaurants in Leyton and Stratford Village East have the way to your hearts on 14th Feb with their one-off Steak and Sushi platter and dessert, for duo dining of any description.
The popular Nikkei destination is offering the menu at its both sights in Leyton and Stratford.
Bamboo Mat’s Valentine’s sharing dish for two beautifully marries together Peruvian and Japanese flavours, featuring grilled Picanha steak topped with fresh Chimichurri sauce sat alongside cute heart-shaped Californian Maki rolls and salmon nigiri (2 pieces) with black garlic aioli. The two-course Valentine’s special platter and dessert is £40.
Wagtail and Aviary
Celebrate Valentine’s day with a three course and London views at Wagtail or Aviary in the Igloo as a special package.
From the 9th until the 18th February, guests can celebrate love and flavour with the curated three-course Valentine’s Day menu at both rooftops, each course artfully paired with a cocktail, in collaboration with The Botanist Gin.
Wagtail’s 3 course features King scallop ceviche, Pan-seared fillet mignon or Wild Brixham turbot, followed by Valentine’s favourite Strawberries & chocolate with rose crémeux for dessert.
Each course is harmoniously paired with a handcrafted cocktail including Je T’Aime Moi Non Plus, featuring The Botanist gin, blackberry, lemon, Aperol, sugar, Joseph Perrier Champagne, as well as the That’s Amore and A Classic Laddie.

Norma
For those missing their summer holiday in Sicily or planning to go soon, visit Norma, for a little taster of Sicily on Valentine’s.
The Fitzrovia destination for vibrant Sicilian-inspired cuisine will enchant couples with a special Tasting Menu on Valentine’s Day.
With stunning interiors, styled marbled booths and cosy nooks, Norma offers the perfect starry-eyed atmosphere to celebrate.
Norma’s menu will include Kale pesto arancino, Stuffed beetroot gnocchi, Pork fillet and Cardamon and rose pannacotta for dessert. Tasting menu priced at £65pp.
OPSO
Or transform to Greece with OPSO, the Marylebone’s popular restaurant for all things Greek is celebrating Valentine’s with a complimentary bottle of wine.
Guests can also enjoy a set menu (£75 per person) inspired by Athens including taramosalata pantzarosalata (baby beetroot with skordalia and blackberries) and manti (lamb dumplings with Greek yoghurt and chimichurri).
For mains choose between octopus or lamb shank ‘giouvetsi’ served with orzo and smoked tomato. The meal will conclude with a heart-shaped mastic panna cotta adorned with raspberries and white chocolate.
Complimentary wine bottle (OPSO’s favourite red wine from the Pavlidis Estate choose between the Emphasis Syrah or the Emphasis Tempranillo) is available to guests who dine between 4.30-6.30pm.
The Gosling
To make this Valentine’s Day extra special, Executive Chef Mark has written a tempting menu at The Gosling.
The Valentine’s menu is priced at £75pp and includes a cocktail on arrival, a choice of snacks including Grilled Rock Oyster with burnt butter, pickled apple & herring roe or Montgomery Cheddar Tartlet with pickled apple & parsley.
For starters guest can indulge in a Lobster Salad with mango & yuzu dressing, gambas and confit tomato or Venison Carpaccio with beetroot, English wasabi & dried raspberry.
Mains include Pan Roasted Cod with squid ink risotto, braised octopus, piquillo peppers & radicchio and Whole Turbot for two with ‘Lourdes Water’ confit garlic sauce, charred lemon, seasonal greens & crispy potatoes.
The meal is finished off with a selection of desserts to share at the table.
Aqua Nueva
The elegant Spanish restaurant Aqua Nueva on Regent Street will welcome couples and friends alike to celebrate the romance of Spain with a special menu from Executive Chef Mateo Garcia Leiva.
The menu, designed for two, will include sharing nibbles to begin including Iberico ham, manchego cheese and rosemary, as well as smoked sardines with Valencian vinaigrette.
Diners will enjoy a starter of onion cremeaux and black truffle followed by a main course of rack of lamb, smoked parsnip puree and chestnut mushroom. For something sweet it’s rhubarb velvet and petit fours.

Heliot Steak House
The restaurant and late-night bar, is launching a one-off Valentine’s Day Aphrodisiac Menu, exclusively available on 14th February 2024.
Appropriately named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty, amorous diners can indulge in a set three course menu, with dishes centred around luxurious ingredients designed to get loved-up couples in the mood.
Expertly curated by Executive Chef and Meatologist Ioannis Grammenos, who hails from Greece himself, the god-tier menu aims to tantalise the palate with powerful flavour combinations that promise to awaken the senses.
