Throughout December, Town House at The Kensington will be celebrating the festive season with their Christmas Afternoon Tea and two Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve menus.
Town House is located on the corner of two of London’s iconic thoroughfares, Queen’s Gate and the Old Brompton Road, and is spread across three classically designed drawing rooms, serving locally-sourced, seasonal modern British cuisine.

Christmas Day Menu
Enjoy a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee NV on arrival for £10 per person
To Start:
Port-Glazed Beets – crispy goat’s cheese, apples, grapes, hazelnut dressing (v)
Treacle Marinated Salmon – shaved fennel, dill mustard, Guinness bread
Cornish Crab Salad Pomelo – pistachio, pea shoots and radish
Venison Carpaccio – horseradish, picked walnuts
Mains:
Fillet of Halibut – artichoke tortellini, watercress, lemon and herb dressing
Aged Fillet of Devonshire Beef – celeriac pithivier, forestière garnish
Roast Bronze Turkey – cranberry, chestnut stuffing, sprouts & lardons
Truffled Wild Mushroom Risotto
Desserts:
Bramley Apple Tart Tatin – salted caramel ice cream
Scandinavian Iced Berries – hot white chocolate sauce
Traditional Christmas Pudding – brandy butter & Jersey cream

AFternoon teas
This December, guests can enjoy Classic and Gluten-Free Afternoon Teas in the newly refurbished Drawing Room of The Kensington. The surroundings offer a relaxing, yet stylish and glamorous space to enjoy the great British tradition of afternoon tea with a festive twist.
Available at £35 per person and served with a selection of teas from the Rare Tea Company, the Classic Christmas Tea is available from 12 noon – 6pm from the 28th of November to the 5th of January 2017 and includes:

Roast beef & horseradish
Montgomery cheffar cheese scone, Wiltshire ham & pear chutney
Smoked salmon palmier with ginger, currants & dill
Spiced fruit loaf, port jelly & Shropshire blue

The Gluten-Free Christmas Tea is also available from 12 noon – 6pm and includes a selection of gluten-free sandwiches, sweets and gluten-free homemade buttermilk scones with Devonshire clotted cream, jam and a selection of homemade cakes & pastries.
On Saturday 31st December celebrate New Year’s Eve at Town House with another delicious three-course meal at £60 per person:
