Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city this summer and head to the vineyard pop-up at Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany in Camden. Dine under a canopy of vines, grapes and flowers inspired by a British vineyard, with a menu that celebrates British produce and wines.

The York & Albany vineyard installation will offer a secret retreat through the summer months for guests to enjoy in the sun with a glass of wine. Visitors will also be transported to a romantic setting as the sun goes down and the vineyard is lit only by candlelight.

The restaurant’s summer menu offers a selection of dishes to enjoy with an extensive wine list, both of which champion local British produce. Dishes on the menu include Cornish plaice with Jersey royals; locally-sourced charcuterie with home-baked bread and pickles; and indulgent cinnamon sugar and rhubarb doughnuts. British wine options from Chapel Down, an award-winning winery located in the heart of Kent, include Chapel Down Brut Blanc de Blancs and Chapel Down Brut Rosé.

As well as dining and drinking al fresco at York & Albany’s vineyard pop-up, guests will be able to brush up on their British wine knowledge with masterclasses led by one of the Gordon Ramsay Group’s sommeliers, available for groups and parties upon request.

Also on offer is theGrape Escape Package* costing £30 per person for groups of up to five people (£25 per person for groups of six or more) which include a grape-crushing experience, world-wide wine masterclass, a selection of small plates and flight of five wines per person.

The al fresco vineyard pop-up at York & Albany is open for the public and private parties to enjoy from now until 30th September 2016.
