Street Feast’s two street food arenas are relaunching for the winter season, heading inside for toasty warm, drizzle-free vibes. Hawker House and Dinerama have both reopened with brand new bars and traders – all undercover and heated – with enough food, booze and winter grooves to last an ice age.
The party moves indoors at Hawker House – aka The NEW International Capital of Street Food – where they’re filling the massive Canada Water warehouse once again with eight bars and 12 street food heroes. Down at Dinerama the roof is back on, the frozen toffee vodka shots are back out and Shoreditch street food favourites are cooking up a snowstorm.
At Hawker House, the new food line-up features HotBox’s sticky, eight-hour-smoked Pork Ribs, White Men Can’t Jerk’s award-winning WMCJ Signature Jerk Chicken, and Up In My Grill’s Bavette Steak cooked over coals with chimichurri and oregano fries.
Bring a date and find a corner in Whisky Bar (home to 50 warming whiskies) – try your luck at Whisky Roulette for the chance to win a bottle of top shelf liquor, then move upstairs to the magnificent Milk & Honey Mercury Lounge, back for another season of classic cocktails and bartender’s pick brews.
Dinerama’s street food stars are joined by newcomer Farang and their winter menu. Try the Bang Tam Beef Jerky or hot, smoky Gai Yang Barbecue Chicken Curry. It’s all change upstairs with an alpine lodge, crystal cocktail lounge and undercover wine garden.
There’s a brand new cocktail menu at The Zephyr Lounge– order a Winter Cup with cognac, triple sec, vermouth, lemon and ginger ale. Cross the bridge to Dick’s Magic T-Bar for Mulled Wine and Sloe Gin Negronis or cuddle up by a blazing fire pit under the twinkling Dinerama rainbow with our brand new Boozy Hot Chocolate from the outdoor Pioneer Bar.
