Cinnamon Kitchen,Vivek Singh’s modern-Indian restaurant in the City, has joined forces with Bombay Sapphireto launch an alfresco Gin Garden, with an adjoining Summer Pavilion popping up in its cocktail bar Anise.
The Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden features a bespoke gin bar, luxury gazebos and an outdoor TV screen airing the best of the summer’s sport.
Cinnamon Kitchen’s terrace is transformed into a juniper jungle, featuring lush botanicals, comfy cushioned seating ideal for lounging, tents for private hire, a giant swing bench and a life size baby elephant replica. As the sun sets, the terrace is illuminated with fairy lights and candles – the perfect setting for enjoying sundowners and nibbles with friends.
Cool off with a cocktail from the inventive Indian-inspired menu, featuring Ultimate Gin & Tonic Twists such as Mint & Ginger, Chilli & Cucumber or the signature Starry Summers Night, made with Star of Bombay, green cardamom, cinnamon stick and tonic.
Hot days call for a Summer Fruit Cup, made with Bombay Sapphire, Martini Rosso, Cointreau, ginger ale, mint leaves and fresh lime wedges. Soak it all up with modern-Indian bar snacks including traditional grazing plates of lamb shammi kebabs, East-meets-West masala potato wedges, and platters of farmhouse cheeses, served alongside naan bread and mixed chutneys.
Catch all the action from Wimbledon and Ascot on the big screen whilst kicking back in one of the private gazebos, where you can pre-order cocktails, snacks and bottles of Bombay Sapphire at your service.
The Summer Pavilion within Cinnamon Kitchen’s bar – Anise.
From June to September, the space will be decked out with vintage sport memorabilia – old school cricket rackets, vintage rugby scrum caps and antique croquet sets will adorn the walls. Hosting up to 200 guests in both the Summer Pavilion and the Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden, this is a great party spot for any summer get-together or corporate party.
Cinnamon Kitchen’s latest summer offering is open from 12pm-11pm Monday to Friday.
