The Bellavita Academy, in the City of London will be offering a series of pasta making master classes with Simone Remoli, master pasta maker and owner of the Pasta Remoli restaurants.
Designed for enthusiastic home cooks, this course gives an opportunity to learn how to prepare perfect pastas and sauces. One evening a week for four weeks, students will learn to use seasonal ingredients to make:
- Plain pastas with authentic Italian sauces
- Different varieties of filled pasta
- Different varieties of potato gnocchi
- Baked pasta dishes
After each class students will be able to enjoy the dishes they’ve prepared at the Bellavita Academy, and there will also be a graduation dinner held at the end of each course at Pasta Remoli at Finsbury Park to which all participants will be invited as Simone’s guests.
The first two courses start on September 4th and September 5th, at 6.30 pm for two hours, and further courses will be run in November, January and March. Course fee is £320 per person to include all ingredients and equipment and booking fees.
Simone Remoli, of Pasta Remoli, has two restaurants in London (Westfield Stratford and Finsbury Park) and has been working at restaurants in Rome and the UK for more than 15 years.
As well as the pasta making masterclass, The Bellavita Academy offers courses focussing on premium Italian wines, ingredients and techniques for food and wine enthusiasts or hospitality professionals including sommeliers, master pizzaiolos and mixologists. The Academy also runs hospitality management courses.
