Vinoteca City is coming to the Square Mile next month with its largest bar, restaurant and wine shop to date with 50% off food during its soft opening between 2nd and 8th October.
Inspired by the wine bars of Spain and Italy, Vinoteca City strikes the perfect balance between distinctive high-quality wines and seasonal food. A central bar and open-plan kitchen are the focal point of the room, along with a private mezzanine dining area overlooking the action below and an alfresco, all-weather patio. The dedicated wine shop offers over 200 varieties from Vinoteca’s vast wine cellar.
Exclusive to Vinoteca City is the’Wine Ledger’ featuring uncommon’off-piste’ wines, all curated and updated weekly by founders and wine experts Brett Woonton and Charlie Young. From classic varietals to gems discovered in lesser-known wine regions, through to unusual grapes, organic and biodynamic bins.
It’s open from breakfast to dinner throughout the week and for brunch on the weekends and Head Chef Kieren Steinborn’s modern European and British menu changes weekly and is characterised by its use of sustainably sourced produce.
Guests can choose smaller plates of Carlingford oysters, cured meats and cheeses, along with deep fried olives and confit chicken wings. Starters include grilled Cornish squid and confit Adlington duck; alongside mains of caramelised Tamworth pork chops and Vinoteca’s signature grilled marinated bavette steak and chips.
Come the weekend, there is brunch with dishes of Berkshire sausage pastry with fried duck egg and brown sauce; devilled kidneys and pancetta on London bloomer; and Severn & Wye smoked salmon with chopped egg and cornichons on rye bread alongside a selection of breakfast wines.
Located in London’s latest foodie hub, Bloomberg Arcade (the covered pedestrian walkway running through Bloomberg’s new European Headquarters), Vinoteca City is offering Lunch, dinner and weekend brunch and bookings can be made via:https://www.vinoteca.co.uk/locations/city.
