From the 20th to the 22nd of September businesses across Tooting are uniting to celebrate Tooting’s Tootopia, a neighbourhood festival championing local food, drink and culture.

Bayou Bar, the New Orleans in Tooting Broadway Market opened earlier this year are going all in for their first Tootopia.

With celebrations from Friday to Sunday the bar will be buzzing;  there will be five live acts in throughout the weekend so whenever you pop down, you’re promised a celebration.

In addition, following the success of their first ever crawfish boil earlier this year Bayou will be serving up a feast all Sunday, noon until 9pm.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a tray of crawfish, corn, potatoes, dipping liquor, corn bread and a drink for just £30 while they soak up the party atmosphere within the market.

Saturday – noon-midnight (Live music during the day and evening)

Sunday – noon-22:00 (Live music 2-5pm from Piano Man, 6-9pm Fallen Heroes)
