Chateau d’Esclans celebrates the start of summer with the launch of Whispering Angel terraces across the UK in celebration of rosé season
To celebrate the summer season, Chateau d’Esclans announces a flagship Whispering Angel terrace at The Aviary, alongside a series of rosé terraces across London and the UK running from June through to September 2023.
From the sun-drenched rooftops of the Aviary, Sky Garden, and AMANO, to countryside gardens and riverside hideaways at Homewood and Hampton Court, each terrace brings to life the home of Whispering Angel in Provence.
Guests will be transported to the essence of the South of France with a wash of pink, iconic pergolas and beautiful florals, as well as a selection of wines from the Chateau d’Esclans estate, and limited-edition food pairings.
Rosé Sky Terrace at The Aviary
Located on the rooftop of one of London’s favourite rooftops, the Rosé Sky Terrace at The Aviary offers a limited edition menu featuring three of the Chateau’s cuvees; Whispering Angel, Rock Angel and The Pale. The paired menu features a spectacular seafood tower, meat and cheese sharing platters, and a selection of small plates including beef tartare with duck fat potato terrine and Arenkha caviar, teriyaki salmon and tuna tataki.
Aviary’s resident DJ will also take over the Whispering Angel terrace throughout the summer, making for the perfect after work social or summer party.

Sky Garden Fenchurch Terrace x Whispering Angel
Whispering Angel also takes over the Fenchurch Terrace at Sky Garden for a summer of rosé in London’s highest public garden. Located on level 37 and offering spectacular, panoramic views of London’s city skyline, guests can choose from a sharing menu curated by Head Chef Kerth Gumns, including truffle arancini, oysters and creamy burrata, paired perfectly with either The Pale, Rock Angel, or Whispering Angels 2022 vintage.

Hotel Amano x Whispering Angel
Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, the Hotel AMANO Rooftop terrace is open all summer long from 1pm everyday. From the seventh floor vantage point, visitors can bask in breathtaking sunsets and immerse themselves in the sweeping panoramas of London’s skyline.
Whispering Angel, Rock Angel and Les Clans will be expertly housed in a perfectly pink bar cart on the terrace. Guests will have the opportunity to savour this exceptional rosé by the glass, a 75cl bottle, or experience the grandeur of a magnum or a jeroboam.
To complement the wine offerings, AMANO Rooftop is offering a curated tapas menu, paired with the flavours of Whispering Angel. Highlight dishes will include Green Fattoush Salad with pear, candied walnut and crispy laffa; Tiradito accompanied with salmon, passionfruit tigermilk and avocado; and Pan Con Tomate with Cantabrian Anchovy and coca bread.

The Trafalgar St James
Whispering Angel @ The Rooftop will launch on 9th June on the seventh-floor bar and restaurant at The Trafalgar St. James hotel. The al-fresco terrace makes for a perfect destination for long summer lunches, brunches, evening meals and sunset drinks with unbeatable skyline views across Trafalgar Square and central London.
The drinks menu will showcase Whispering Angel and Rock Angel, as well as rosé based cocktails including the Taste of Provence; inspired by the Provence region of France delicate homemade lavender syrup blends beautifully with the fresh notes of Whispering Angel, finished with a touch of soda.
The Rooftop’s European-inspired summer food menu features small and large plates, sharing platters and desserts. Dishes range from light summery seafood dishes and salads through to classic burgers and original vegan dishes.

Homewood
For the first time this year, Whispering Angel will venture further afield to Somerset-based eclectic country house hotel, Homewood. Bringing an exciting new dining terrace to guests this summer, the terrace is complete with an outdoor bar, al fresco dining domes, a playful swing and a beautiful wildflower wall, for the perfect backdrop to summer gatherings.
