The Bun House, a Cantonese-style steamed bun specialist, located in Chinatown, has created something spooky this Halloween.

Bun House will celebrate the scariest day of the year with the launch of their limited-edition Mummy Buns. Freshly made on-site and served hot, the pillowy soft buns are filled with a buttery purple yam lava and disguised as a ghoulish Mummy.

Founded by husband and wife duo Z He and Alex Peffly, Bun House is known for its creative take on Cantonese flavours, offering seasonal buns that have become a Chinatown staple.

Unconventional in their approach, the duo marks the seasonal calendar with their charming takes on buns marrying British customs and Chinese flavours. Bun enthusiasts can unwrap Bun House’s spooky surprise, oozing with a rich, buttery lava purple yam filling, at their Lisle Street location in Chinatown.

Bun House’s Halloween buns will be available for purchase in-store from 26th to 31st October, or until sold out, priced at £5.80 each. Individual buns will also be available to take away and steam at home.
